Chinese on the Coast

I luuuurve our dates nights.  If I could look 3 or 19 or 47 years down the road, I hope we are still doing this every.saturday.night.  Because I love this boy.  And we laugh a lot together.  And that is a good thing.

Last night we took our little shoe-string budget and drove ourselves down to the nearest Panda Express.  Isn't it awesome how $15 can buy some fake bearably decent chinese food?!  And then BoMbdIgGity down to the beach.  I mean, duh.  Chinese food and the sunset.  Waaaaa- haaaa. . .

Sadly the Panda People were moving at a speed, at which we would arrive at the beach to watch the sunRise.  Oh well.  When we finally got there, the ocean breezes were blowing like they do and poor Hubs started singing his 'I'm So Freaking Cold' song, that sounds something Hallelujah Chorus-like.

And this is where you would have found us.  Sitting on the steps {windbreaker, yo!} with our little styrofoam boxes, peering at the already set sun every once in a while.  And we talked and laughed and ate and then shivered our little butts back to the truck.

The.End.

PS.  Today is the much awaited for babe-sy shower.  We will play games and eat food and laugh and take awesome pictures of the boys and us girls.
And maybe, just maybe, I will eat enough chocolate chip cookie dough truffles to look pregnant too!
