Hub's Lovin' {and my new found infatuation with Ikea}

Ok girlies.  Here's the scoop.  I've been scouring the web the last couple weeks, looking for blogs that inspire me to be better, love better, serve better.  It's been really fun because I'M FINDING them!!!
{On that note, get ready in October because I'm going to bring you some guest posts from some of my new found favs!  Cue 'Hallelujah Chorus'}

Anywayza.  I've discovered a common thread in many of the blogs I'm lovin'.  There are lots of women out there who really really love their Hubs.  I mean, seriously, truly love them.  It's a breath of fresh air.  You know how wherever you go, there's always some woman {or man, for that matter} that is in constant Spouse-Bashing-Mood?!  Makes me sick.  One of my big goals in marriage is to live a life that is marked by love and respect towards Adam.  Of course I have already had my share of frustrated moments.  Those times I feel mean words coming to the surface and even slip out.  But if somehow, someway, by the grace of God, I could live our marriage as loving as possible, as often as possible, that is what I want.

Last night Hubs and I had a long talk about life and love and towards the end of the conversation he said something that really hit me.  He said that {for most guys} if they had a woman who believed in them, they would do anything for her.  Gosh we carry a lot of weight in marriage!

Soooo that got me thinkin'.  What if all of us girlies, who deep down reallytrulycurrully {ok.  no that's not a word.  but somehow the more rhymes you have, the more sincere it seems} love our men, banded together and used our corners of the web to build them up and encourage all the other wifies to do the same, do you think we could start a revolution?!  A change?!  Can you imagine how awesome it would be to hear women Love-Bashing their Hubs instead of tearing them down?!  How would that change our men?!  Our families?  Our communities? Our world?!

Ooohkk.  Sounds a little lofty.  And maybe just a little bit like 'ohgosh, she's just gushly cuz she's a newlywed' kinda stuff.  But for realz girls.  It starts with one.  Annnd, so we can all band together and rock our hubbies' worlds with love, I've created this cute little button that I am proudly displaying on my blog.  You should too!  Grab the code, add it to your site, and together we can take one step in publicly declaring our love and respect for the awesome men God has placed in our lives!

And PS on this.  If you get grab the button {which as I mentioned, you totally should} you are entering the pact of the Hubs'-Lovin'-Sisterhood . . . wait.  that just sounds creepy and wrong.  Gaaah!  Starting over.  Be sure to use this as an opportunity to speak affirming words about your Hubs on your blog.  Then encourage others to join too.  Was that better?!  Maybe.

And in other completely random, unrelated news.  SIL {sis-in-love} introduced me to the world of Ikea yesterday.  Be still my soul.  I spent three-months-worth-of-Sunday's of pay checks with my eyes.  Mwauh.  It was pure delight.

And isn't she just the dreamiest?!  Such an adorable pregnant glow.  Aren't her eyes and hair to die for?! Ok.  Enough gushing over her looks.  But seriously.  Can't wait to see little baby.  They will be the cutest family in history.
