Christmas Candy Series {1}

A sweet reader told me that I had her at the words
'horrifically easy'
on my post about the Christmas candy I made this week.

It was then that I realized how unappealing the word 'horrifically'
is when placed in the same sentence as candy.
Oh well.  True story.
{And you know that you love it}

Here's part one of a three part Christmas Candy series in this amazing week before Christmas.
Seriously.  This little blog just got exciting.

{original recipe found here}

:: Brownie Batter Bark ::

3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
about 12 whole graham crackers
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1-2 cups plain M&M's

Line cookie sheet with foil. Place graham crackers in the pan completely flat
Melt the butter over medium heat and stir in brown sugar
Bring to boil and boil for two minutes, stirring constantly
Pour butter mixture over the graham crackers

Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes
Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over crust
Return to oven for about 1 minute or until chocolate begins to melt
Spread chocolate with rubber spatula to cover the crust
Sprinkle M&M's over top
{you can drizzle melting chocolate on top. i was just too lazy}

Cool completely
Break into irregular pieces and store in airtight container
