Yums in the Tums

I kinda super love to eat.
Slightly sad, yet true story.
Maybe this is why Pinterest is my best buddy
when it comes to cooking.

Today seemed like a good day to share some of the love.
So get your taste buds, tummies and running shoes ready
{cuz you're gonna need them after all this}

{Italian Chicken Wraps}
Last night I made my own *modified recipe originally found here.

*I left out the veggie mix because our freezer is looking a bit bare at the moment. still mucho delish.

{Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites}
Umm.  If you don't like cookie dough, I don't know if we can still be friends.
Kidding.  But seriously.
I slight modified this original recipe by dipping them complEEtely in chocolate.
Seriously.  No duh on that one.

{Broccoli Chedder Soup}
This has become a fast fav in our house.
Especially on cold nights that call for cuddling and said soup.

- - -

{Pumpkin Whoopie Pies}
Even though fall is teeechnically over, it's always a good time
for this pumpkiny sweetness.
Dude.  It's like fall in your mouth.
{and extra cushy on your tooshy}

- - -

{Double Pumpkin Kissed Chocolate Chunk Cookies}
Speaking of pumpkin and cushy on your tooshy.
Dude. Pumpkin and chocolate are a deadly mix.
Make these dang cookies, yo.
Even if you must travel to Far Of Land Of Pumpkin and pick one yourseelf.

{Spinach Strawberry Salad}
Now. I know you are probably all thinking
Gosh, what a fatty.  No wonder she needs to run.  Get off your bum, woman!
Let's pretend like I actually made this salad and the pure health and greenness
magically melted away the pounds from the previous 323,584 fattening recipes.
Thank you very muchly.

Mmkay.  Now it's your turn to link me to your best recipe find of late.

  7. You need to discover this blog if you haven't already: http://www.howsweeteats.com/. She has a bit of an attitude, but her photographs make you want to INHALE her cooking. And she uses real-people ingredients, not food for stick people. Yum!

  11. I made homemade pumpkin raviolis with a gorgonzola sauce this weekend and it quickly became a favorite! Here's the recipe/steps that prove it's not hard, just time consuming (but well worth it!!!): http://fromeasttowest1.blogspot.com/2012/01/perfect-excuse.html

  13. Umm yum - those wraps and that broccoli and cheddar soup are calling my name! I like that you've actually tried these out, I'm always hesitant to try pinterest recipes people post but haven't done themselves yet, because I'm never sure how difficult or time consuming they'll be.

    Thanks for sharing love!

  14. From a girl who adores cookie dough and chocolate, those sweet things look a-m-a-z-i-n-g. And broccoli and cheese soup is so delicious. If you're a fan of cheesy goodness, you should try out my mac and cheese recipe found at the link below. My hubby and his mom, grandma, and great aunt have all given their compliments on it, so it's not just me. It is super simple but so tasty. Thanks for sharing some of your favs!

  16. Oh man, at first I thought you were making all of this delicousness and were the perfect wife, slaving away in the kitchen for your husband, and I wanted to slap you. And then I paid better attention and realized that this is why I love your blog so much. You are real. Thanks for that.

    Oh, and some recipes. Lately this has been my go to meal for groups, because it is in a crockpot, so it is easy, and it is soooooo good: Kentucky Crock Pot BBQ

    And this is my all time favorite homemade dessert: Cookie Pie
