Dear . . .

Dear Seester.
I feel in love with you all over again this weekend.
I wish we were still going for tacos to that
same.old.stand
and laughing at them laughing at us.

Dear Mexico.
I kinda miss your tacos.
And beaches.
But I don't miss your barking dogs at 11:43PM

Dear Husband's Shirts.
Thank you for your hint of sexy smell.
You remind me of my boy in more ways than one.
If it wasn't so awkward, I would carry you around as a blankie.

Dear House.
You better thank your lucky stars
that I am the house cleaning goddess today.
Cuz today I'm dominating.
And PS I'm so glad to be back to you.
You are cozy and ours and I kinda like you.

Dear American Airlines.
How much money do you seriously
plan to earn by making passengers purchase
headsets to watch the movie?!
Fine. Whatever.  Like I care about watching
Puss In Boots.

Dear Husband.
I love our tradition of getting a hotel room after
I've been away.
. . .

Dear Bag of Fabric From Mexico.
I will transform my
house
wardrobe
and
life
with you.
You are some kinda bag of awesomeness.

Dear Week Between Hubs Birthday & Valentines Day.
I have so many good plans for you.
It will be like birthday celebration x1000
Boooosh.

Dear Midday Lag.
Please don't wreck my streak of awesomeness.
Maybe some chocolate or sweetness of sorts
will kick you in the little behind.
Ha. Take that.

Dear February.
Thank you for the unseasonably warm weather.
Thank you for making me feel like spring is just around the corner. . . ish.
Thank you for inspiring to finally put my Christmas decorations away.

Dear God.
Thank you that you give grace
and love when I don't have it on my own.
I love you.

  8. I can't get over the fabulousness of your hair in that first photo!

Also, I love your thoughts on carrying your husband's shirt as a blankie. I secretly wish I could do that too. You know, if it wouldn't akward at work and what not. "Here is my lap top, here is my water bottle, and this? oh this is just my husband's shirt. You know, in case I want to snuggle'

Glad you are back safe and sound!

  20. How cute! I call my sister "seester" too! Special stuff. I LOVE the hotel tradition. I can only imagine the love that is in there after being a part for days and days. :)

My hubby has been gone for two days. As he left this morning for work I told him, "Me, you, date night, tonight. Here. At home" because we're going to be gone and busy all weekend with family and we NEED and little relaxing US time after the baby goes to bed. I'm excited!
