random awesome? thrift finds in mexico
gosh i miss this girl
:: Thrifting is fast becoming my rediscovered obsession. How can I resist two dollar chairs and a tiny glass plate for a quarter?!
:: Yesterday I wore fuzzy heart socks. Uber fashion faux pa, but sometimes comfort must trump beauty.
:: I think I lost a library book. And I'm a little bit freaking out. It's probably like $57.98 to replace it all 126 pages of it.
:: Heart sugar cookies with pink frosting and carrot sticks are my lazy-girl-breakfast.
:: Husband and I are exceedingly proud of ourselves when we clean the entire house in one night. It's like we are clean-freak-ninjas or something. Then it's like. Wow. This is what normal people do everyday.
:: I chose the most depressing movie to take the boy to for his birthday. How's that for ringing in year 30?! {at least the rest of the night was awesomesauce. stay tooooned}
:: We literally lock ourselves out of our house on a weekly basis. It's just that pathetic. Maybe we should get smart and make 234,957 copies of our keys?! #somedaywewillgetsmart
:: I am dying of need for ideas of cute winter footwear besides boots. This is where you lovelies swoop in and save the day by enlightening me in the comments. ReadysetGO.

Happy lovely-glorious-delicious Friday to ya.
I am quite beside myself to be with the boy for 13 hours straight in our car.
Music, dance parties, unhealthy snacks out the bahoozle, reading to each other.
I predict heaps of perfect memories to be made.

haha, my husband and I do the same thing about cleaning! I always want to give myself a pat on the back when we do a whirlwind cleaning and get everything looking good again, but then I remember that most grown-ups keep their house twice as clean as ours on a regular basis!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of boots in the winter so hard to give any better suggestions. TOMS are always comfy and cute?
ReplyDeletei have thought about toms. . . they are cute. i really love boots, but i wear them so much i have scratched the toes all up. so then i feel like a goob wearing them. :)
DeleteThis winter I've been wearing mostly my boots - my gray pair is my fave....I seriously wear them ALL the time! People at church probably wonder if that's the only pair of shoes I own! ;) If it's not too snowy, I wear basic flats with my jeans - cute and comfy!
ReplyDeletei love theseee pictures!!! (:
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of thrifting as well. Stumbling upon a great find is the absolute best.
ReplyDeletei am convinced thrifting is the greatest hobby ever. and your breakfast, best breakfast ever. i see a theme here!
ReplyDeleteWell, I do love boots too. It's cold here and they practical and warm. Now, really cool cowboy boots may be a nice change. My sweet hubby bought me a pair of gorgeoso cowboy boots that are green and yellow!! Yep, still like (cheap) fasion at 50! Got them at a cool thrift store in Iowa City. So, that may be a nice switch for you.
DeleteTotally the breakfast of champions, carrots and cookies, I think this could become the new bacon and eggs ;)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear more about the 30th birthday bash - whatever you did I bet it was amazing and that your hubs loved it!

Ok, so this is something I ask myself frequently as I'm sweeping my tile floors for the hundredth time in one week. Do normal people really do this all the time? Do they really dust their fan blades and wipe their floorboards? Should I be doing all that? Why? When you do the same thing over and over again and it gets messed up.. isn't that the definition of insanity? Or something..? I mean. I just wonder. Is cleanliness REALLY next to godliness?
ReplyDeleteOk, thanks. Felt good to get that out. :D
