'Twas the Night Before I Stuffed Myself With Turkey

My heart is overflowing right now.

Our house is clean.  Our house is quiet.  Our house it ready for cousins and laughter and yumminess in our bellies all day long tomorrow.

I am so grateful for this whole day I had with my five sisters.  They are awesome for helping me move heavy things in our living room because I neeeed to rearrange for the 207th time in the last 6 months.  They are also awesome for longs walks around the neighborhood and house cleaning and having lots of nice words when I'm having emotional meltdowns over pregnancy-body-issues.

I am also so thankful for Husband and the little ways he loves me everyday.  Like the fact that he cleans a bathroom 110% better than I do.  And he does a super rad job at mudding the kitchen walls that got a fresh coat of paint the night before Thanksgiving.  Most of all I am so grateful for how love and commitment multiples as marriage marches on.  It's a beautiful thing.

I am thankful for little things like $2 thrifted chairs, chalkboards for writing tomorrow's agenda on and new brown boots.  I am also thankful for big things like my mom who is the world's greatest painter and will come help me finish our kitchen walls the night before a holiday.

I also am extra thankful for our Little person who kicks all the time and the way that Husband says he loves his personality already.   I kind of wish it was February already. . .

Most of all, I am thankful for God.  He just rocks my world with love and grace that surrounds and fills every crack and corner of our broken lives.

Now, do me a favor and spread some love. . .
What are you most thankful for
aaaannddd what will you be stuffing your face with the most tomorrow?!

I'll be camped out in the stuffing and cheesy potato area with frequent trips to the apple crisp and gooey butter bars section of the table as well.

Happy happy day of gratefulness, Lovelies.

  1. Love your writing style!! I'm so thankful for how God never gives me more than I can handle, and I will be stuffing my face with green bean casserole and that epic ramen salad :)

  2. Happy Thanksgiving!!! Sounds like you have such a fun {and delicious} day planned! I'm thankful for so much this year: friends, family, travel, fiance, and the list could go on :)

  3. Happy Thanksgiving! I'm grateful for cute pregnant ladies at work to make faces at and to share secrets with in the hallway. I am also grateful to be surrounded by so many like-minded people at work who are awesome examples of what it means to walk with God on a daily basis. Have a wonderful day with your cousins!
