5 Uses For Wilted Spinach

We're coming down off a post-Easter sugar high over here. . . ahhh!  So naturally I'm trying to get some nutritious meals queued up for this coming week.

Also on the subject of healthy meals. . . is it just me or do you fill your fridge with veggies and greens on grocery shopping day and inevitably a few get hidden in the back of the fridge and wilt or spoil before you can use them up?!  This often happens to our spinach or kale.  Whoops.  Hashtagmomfail. haha

The awesome thing about spinach is that between the 'perfect-for-green-salads' stage and the 'soggy-green-rotten-mash' stage, there's the 'too-wilted-to-look-pretty' stage.  Whenever ours hits this point, I get super motivated to use it up in recipes that call for cooked greens.  It's bound to wilt anyway so why not start that way?! So today I thought I would do a little round up of 5 recipes that are perfect for wilted spinach.  Making these always make me feel so resourceful.  haha. Hashtagwiltedspinachforthewin

  1. This is great! Thanks for the list, Nicole! I found that GFS sells a HUGE bag of spinach for super cheap. It's worth it to buy even if we only use half the bag, but I still hate throwing so much away. :/
