  3. Oh my goodness, i'm so excited for you!! I'm so sad that you are moving to LA, and i'm moving out of LA in January! Maybe we can try to connect before we move!

  4. no way!! i would love to meet up before you leave if you have time!! xoxox

  5. YAY!!!!!!!!!! So Cal! If we ever left Colorado we've talked about there ;) hehehe

  6. This will be so exciting!!! I completely understand being excited and sad at the same time. A lot of it is from the stress of it all since it's happened so quickly. That is how our move went. We got asked in May, listed our home and sold it 5 days later. It happened fast and was hard to process. Thinking of you, mama.

  7. Beautiful girl, this is an adventure of a lifetime. It's a crazy adventure, one that seems impossible, emotional, and exhausting in one moment and then exciting, thrilling, and faith-flying the next. I just moved over this summer, and even though I didn't even leave the state, it was so so so hard. I get the rollercoaster of emotions and how overwhelming the boxes seem. I didn't want to move, but once I did I have been so blown away at God's goodness and faithfulness. Literally, I had no idea He would have all this in store for me- I can't believe I made a fuss and didn't want this! He rewards those who leave behind their wants for His dreams. I know He's got amazing things in store for you, dear Nicole. Even when you're up to your ears in boxes, sorting out things and the boys are taking things back out, let me remind you of this- God chose the right girl for the job. He's going to give you strength and grace for every day, every moment. It's okay to ask for help, it's okay to go take a time out yourself to cry and pray. It's okay to eat cereal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner too if it gives you more time and makes less stress!

You got this. One box at a time. The entire house does not need to be packed up in the next five minutes. Take that deep breath and just start one box at a time, really thinking about what to keep and what to give. Savor the moment.

And take lots of pictures. Your boys will thank you one day.

Sending you big hugs and lots of love!

P.S. Two songs that were on my constant repeat list were "Crazy Faith" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3I9TVikxUE) and "Make a Way" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAxf1U_BNjo). I thought I'd share in hopes they'd bless your heart too during this season! <3
